Didn’t Amy Pascal have a hand in this? Looks like she got her wish to replace Rooney as Lisbeth. Also looks like Amy is still the big looser here! Charles Amy sent Flincher as a producer... like "i know you like this cake so much but you won't even have a bite of it, you'll just watch how someone else is eating it"... so I love the idea of Fincher hiring Alvarez and then Alvarez throwing up the cake on Amy's. I don't wish bad things happen to people but in this case, this is funny. I think that Fincher didn’t have any real power over this production. My thought was that he was given executive producer credits as a reward after they canceled the orig. trilogy, but had a contract with Fincher.

So this is bombing hard at the box office. It's projected to make around $8.2 which is pretty dire.Regardless of whether Rooney was involved or not,I just never understood the logic behind making another one of these films after the last last one did only ok.

Finally got around to watching this and well,it's bad.I really like Claire Foy but she was the wrong actress for this role, she just never convinces as Lisbeth. The film itself is just grim and predictable and for a so called thriller,it's not remotely thrilling.Glad Rooney and Fincher had nothing to do with this,3/10.

Watched this on HBO just because I'm getting rid of it after watching tonight's GOT documentary. And it was there for free. Totally agree with you. I read from you guys this was bad but wasn't expecting this bad.
