So who do you guys think should replace Rooney in this? The one (or more) you wouldn't mind, Like Saoirse replacing Rooney in Brooklyn.

Hopefully Fede doesn't ask Jane Levy, I think she's very talented, but I don't see her in this role. I'm with you, what do you think of Anya Taylor-Joy? She could do really well too, me thinks

Man I used to listen to Reznor and Ross' soundtrack at work to pass the time, but after hearing this news, I just feel anger and disappointment every time I listen to it.

Playing Lisbeth and following Rooney is no small task. Rooney went so far as to sleep in her leathers because she thought thats what Lisbeth would do. She totally crawled into Lisbeth's head so much so that it effected her relationships with Rooney's own friends. So whoever takes the role would need to have the same determination and dedication or the result will not compare favorably. This is a real chance for an actress to screw up her career. Just my opinion, that may be wrong. But that is how I feel about this. Charles

I think determination and dedication would not be enough to catch up with Rooney’s performance. Agree. Replacing a icon performed by a genius.

Natalie and Scarlett are SO NOT doing this. It's just a desperate measure to capture interest (and it's not really working)

One story that comes to mind: One weekend near the end of shooting she went to a friends wedding. A drunk guy picked her up and started dancing with her, he was holding her up by her arms and swinging her like a rag doll. So what would Lisbeth do? She boxed his ears really hard which apparently caused a big commotion, and embarrassment for her and the bride. She really internalized the Lisbeth role. The source was David Fincher in a magazine article at the time. Charles

It's not going to win B.O. going against Jungle Book. The love for those movies are real.

I have, honestly I thought that I would not like it because it wasn't Larsson, but I wanted to read it to know more about Lisbeth. I didn't enjoy it as much as the trilogy, but you can feel Salander in the book, still good. For me it was a 3/5 stars, meaning it was good.
