That kind of shit is coming back to haunt him now that nobody wants to work with him. It's scary as hell I know this is beyond Rooney, but I wish she was attached to this studio when they were doing well and not in the condition that they are in now. She would've also benefited by them a lot more then and not run the risk of being in their films that could get dumped like the others. I recently heard TWC couldn't give Keaton a campaign because they just couldn't afford it. Would not be surprised if the studio is doing worse than what we know. Well, Tulip Fever just got pulled, a week prior to it's release, not surprising one bit. TWC just got a big lawsuit, for $15 million, about the release of THE FOUNDER-GOLD. Hopefully TWC is still able to release MM, or if not sell it off. (Universal has international distribution rights, maybe they could get it if anything were to happen)? Lol, It's really sad how Tulip Fever is getting fucked around. They're saying it'll come out later in the year. What? Did Harvey change his mind and now has awards on his mind? It dosnt make sense because I heard the test screenings for it was a mess. Or maybe he's eyeing something only for Vikander and Christoph. As for MM, Harvey is more likely to mess MM up in post than sell it. With Garth helming it (who basically saved his studio this year with Lion) I doubt he would sell it.

:lol2: That designer’s screen must be broken, or he’s placing the pic of another actress?

Maybe Rooney plays an older Mary in the last 10-15 minutes of the film. I hope not, I don't want to see Rooney's face covered with some cheesy old age makeup (Kate Winslet in The Reader comes first to my mind ).

Do you think so? I thought the guy was handed the picture of somebody else... By the way, Kate Winslet was amazing in The reader, I think that's my fav of hers.

Who knows ? I wouldn't be surprised if we see Rooney with slightly aged face towards the end of the movie. Not a fan of that idea tbh.
Kate was excellent in The Reader but I didn't like her old age makeup at the end. And many others from different movies, for that matter. It just doesn't work and look cheesy. The technique used in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, although not ideal, was improvement.

Can't wait for this film, really. I hope Roo and Garth make many movies together. Also kinda cute that Garth and Fincher are close. He thanked him in Lion final credits

Eh,I don't think Rooney is someone that is interested in winning oscars or awards that much. She picks films and roles with interesting directors and stories. I think it's purely incidental that these films end up looking "award friendly". And UNA and Secret Scripture barely have any distribution, so expecting them to make a big splash during award season is unrealistic.
