It's probably mostly just DC fanboys making all that noise. I'll never understand the rivalry between DC & Marvel. They take it so seriously it's crazy.

You're right - they used original, not cover.

Carol teaser trailer arrived on August 17; official US and International trailers three weeks later - September 9. We can expect something similar for Mary Magdalene.

There's something about the look of 16mm that's inviting: perhaps it's that, as you gaze at, say, one of Rooney Mara's long, desirous stares in Carol, or Jesse Eisenberg's wondrous peering at the whale in the American Museum of Natural History in The Squid and the Whale, you can see each grainy pixel in the image, and what you see when you look at those millions and millions of grains is, ultimately, yourself. It could also just be easy on the retinae.

oops, you're right, i didn't think about this. like at all. it woudn't bother me. i was raised Catholic, but i'm not religious person, if anything i'm more and more anticlerical at this point in my life. or rather in the current situation in my country :eyeroll:

(painfully ultra catholic, like really ridiculously. no offence to other catholics in here), but it's OT, perhaps General Thoughts is a better place for that discussion...
