Luca just won Best Director in Venice. And Cate is Best Actress! 🏆 And Taylor! I love her. But part of me wish more originality from them Looks like Oscars are Cate and Michelle W for supporting. |

I think Best Actress is still open. Cate is a frontrunner right now and she'll be critics favorite but wait for Robbie, her movie will be one of the most popular of the season and she supposedly has juicy performance. Ana de Armas, Michelle Yeoh, Olivia Colman are likely the other three, with some late-comers lurking behind (Deadwyler and Ackie), ready to step in. Williams is winning Supporting Actress, that race is basically over. And I'm fine with it. She is overdue. |

Idk, Haynes would be good but he seems busy with some other projects? Sofia Coppola's next movie is supposedly Priscilla Presley's biopic. Hmm... Elvis again ? But from different angle ? 🤔 Lana del Rey would be a solid choice for middle-aged Priscilla (but she needs to lose some weight first). |
