I read Leos Carax will make another film with Adam... Second chance for Rooney? And in 2012 Carax wanted Joaquin in Annette But “Joaquin was too shy to meet” without a script!!!!   One can hope 🤞 |

The first thing that popped into my head watching it was ‘Boogie Nights’ (the look of it). Felt very much like early PTA. And that’s a great thing. |

Obviously, it's done in the spirit of Boogie Nights (letter design is similar to Inherent Vice trailer). So, this is a story about high-schooler in love with older girl/young woman? Looks cute. This actually might be Academy's thing. I'd love if PTA is nominated again. |

I’ve not tried very hard to understand the story through the trailer, because I stopped doing it since I learned that not all directors have control of their movie trailers. Once I was at a conference where each film was introduced with its trailer and the director was enraged, saying that none of it appeared there, it represented the film ... But this is the story that PTA wrote with his daughter or something like that. ? It looks refreshing to me and Cooper Hoffman’s presence gives me an extra thrill. I love that song, but I hate the title of the movie. I really want to see it obviously but I also know that the bar is very high. I still remember the feeling when I left the movie theater after watching Phantom Thread. It's the feeling of having seen a perfect movie and it's a bit sad that we all watch millions of movies and there are so few moments like that. Also love how make up-less looks Alana and Coop |
