When did "Brutally Honest" became a replacement for "Brutally Stupid". I give little credence to academy voters taste and opinions, but this kind of just seals the deal. The stuff I heard about the way they treat the animation category years back was disgusting.

honestly as much as I'm not a big fan of all the movies nominated this year some of those brutally honest opinions are just plain dumb. it's like they are literally hating on every little thing they can find

Good morning everyone! Sorry I was unable to watch the oscars with you all last night, (my computer took forever to update). I'm very happy Casey won! I'm very happy Barry & Kenneth won screenplay! Cinematography, La La Land. Damien winning Best Director is okay, Kenneth & Barry got their writing oscars. Mica Levi/Nicholas Britell were robbed. :sad2: Isabelle. Natalie.....  :cry1: :cry2: The La La Land best picture mix up was beyond iconic. I love how all the producers gave speeches :lol2: . Then they announced Moonlight.    I hope you had fun. Most dramatic oscars ever |

Do we have already an explanation about the 2 envelopes? If you're talking about the two Best Actress envelopes, then yes. Like the article says they have two sets of envelopes, one on the left hand side of the stage the other on the right hand side. Leo picked up the envelope from the left which is usually where the presenters exit. So Cullinan (the PWC guy incharge of the envelopes), on the right still had the the best actress envelope but was too busy taking pictures (that's what I hear) and in that time Dunaway and Beatty picked up the BA envelope instead of BP and went up on stage. Apparently there was a lot of noise just to get these two on stage, so it was all hurried and mismanaged. P.S.: Anyone correct me if I'm wrong. |
